This is a unique opportunity to work as a transport clinician, stabilising and safely transferring neonatal and paediatric patients across the region. You will be involved in clinical responsibilities, research, governance, and education.

About You:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.

  • MRCPCH or equivalent.

  • Experience in paediatrics and neonatal medicine.

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Consultant (Embrace), your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage patient stabilisation and ensure safe, efficient transfers.

  • Perform neonatal and paediatric transfers, triaged by the consultant on call.

  • Contribute to research projects and participate in audits and clinical governance.

  • Participate in educational programmes for Embrace.

Essential

  • The appointees must have middle grade experience in paediatrics and neonatal medicine. Six months Paediatric Intensive care experience is required- ideally ST4-8 level.

Desirable

  • Tertiary middle grade neonatal experience

Qualifications and Training

Essential

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification MRCPCH or equivalent APLS/PALS and NLS provider - courses can be accessed at the beginning of the post if required Fully registered with the GMC

Desirable

  • APLS/PALS/NLS/PANSTAR instructor
