We're looking for a safeguarding practitioner to take a leadership role within Sheffield Children's as Named Nurse for Safeguarding (CAMHS) and PREVENT Lead. You will lead safeguarding activity across CAMHS and provide strategic oversight on PREVENT responsibilities across the organisation.

Main duties of the job
You will report to the Head of Safeguarding, and your responsibilities will include:
As Named Nurse for Safeguarding (CAMHS):

Lead safeguarding activity across CAMHS

Advise clinicians and managers on safeguarding issues

Ensure compliance with relevant safeguarding standards

Work with senior teams to strengthen safeguarding provision

Foster partnerships with external agencies
As PREVENT Lead:

Oversee Trust compliance with the Prevent responsibilities

Manage Prevent policies, training, and procedures

Represent the Trust at Prevent and Channel meetings

Lead Prevent reporting and training coordination

- oRN/RMN with substantial post registration experience
- o1st Level degree in nursing or health related subject
Desirable
- oEvidence of relevant Safeguarding Children and/or Looked After Children/Young People Qualification
- oDiploma/degree and/or experience in a CAMHS setting
- oMaster's degree or working to towards Teaching qualification
- oQualification in Safeguarding Supervision

- oEvidence of significant direct safeguarding children/Looked After Children experience at Band 7 or above
- oExperience of delivering safeguarding supervision
- oEvidence of professional leadership and proven ability to manage a team
- oExperience of undertaking and contributing to single and multi-agency audit
