Job summary

Permanent | Full-time

We're looking for someone to join our Neurodevelopmental team, providing administrative support and being a link between the Trust, patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

You'll maintain accurate patient information, handle calls and enquiries, and collaborate with departments to ensure clear communication and resolve patient queries. You'll also support meetings and general admin tasks.

Experience in customer service or administration, attention to detail, and the ability to manage your workload and input data across systems are essential.

Main duties of the job

Reporting into the Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain accurate databases and spreadsheets.

  • Schedule appointments and follow up on information from families and schools.

  • Work with other departments to address patient queries.

  • Help manage patient pathways and supporting new colleague inductions.

  • Provide sensitive support to parents, patients, and families, especially during challenging times.

  • Manage calls and queries, escalating where appropriate.

  • Experience in accurately updating systems including database and spreadsheet management
  • Experience providing administrative support for meetings, including preparation and note taking
