About Our Service Ryegate House is a six-bedded facility providing 24-hour nursing care and short breaks for children and young people (0-19 years) with complex neurological health conditions. As part of the Helena Specialist Nursing Team, you'll provide personalised, high-quality care in homes, schools, and our facility, offeringsafe and nurturing respite for families. About the Role This is a fantasticopportunityto grow your specialised skills in areas such as tracheostomy and ventilation while gaining teaching experience within community settings and the organisation. You'll support daily line management, provide compassionate care to palliative patients and their families and contribute to service growth. Additionally, you'll become an expert in areas such as sepsis, infection control, and tissue viability. Want to know more? Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Nurse Team Manager, you will:

Provide skilled nursing care

Advocate for patients and families, ensuring holistic and seamless care as part of a diverse team

Support colleague development and deliver clinical education for team members, patients, families, and external providers

Provide leadership to less experienced colleagues, managing the service in the Team Manager's absence

Assist the Team Manager in maintaining quality of care, managing resources, and representing the team at relevant meetings
About You: We're looking for someone with:
Notable nursing experience, including the completion of your newly qualified nursing programme and Intravenous training
Understanding of the Senior Staff Nurse role
Experience making a difference to children and young people with complex needs
