An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Research and Innovation team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Educator
The post holder will be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and seeks to deliver excellence in their role. They will share the Trust values and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
The post holder will be a key member of R&I, supporting the clinical training needs of the nurses and non registered staff who deliver an ever increasingly complex portfolio of studies in different therapy areas. Applicants must be have significant experience in delivering clinical research at band 6 or be a current clinical educator.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a commitment to maintain and develop all clinical aspects of staff education, development and training within the Research Delivery team so as to ensure the highest standard of patient care delivery.
Main duties of the job
They should possess excellent leadership skills and be able to create a dynamic learning environment in order to facilitate, deliver and evaluate programmes of learning for all patient facing Research delivery staff.
Applicants should demonstrate enthusiasm towards creating a positive learning environment which meets the individual needs of staff, and provides further development opportunities for preceptors, mentors, junior nursing staff and student nurses in Research.
To work in collaboration with the Sheffield Universities.
