Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the finance department at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. Your role will be split between the two main ledgers, 3 days per week on the sales ledger and 2 days per week on the purchase ledger. You will be required to send out invoices and credit notes and answer credit queries.

You will be a compassionate, accountable individual who treats all colleagues, patients and service users with respect and seeks to deliver excellence in your role. You will share the Trust values and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Main duties of the job

  • Become an integral part of an experienced and dedicated Purchase and Sales ledger teams.
  • Matching call off orders to invoices received into the organisation to enable the invoice to be processed and paid.
  • Liaise with Trust staff to ensure the necessary documentation, such as non-stock requisitions and tender waiver forms, are in place to enable orders to be correctly receipted into the organisation and ensure continuation of supply and provision of clinical services.
