Job summary
Applications are invited for a full time BSW in the Blood Sciences based at Bradford Royal Infirmary to work in the Admin Section predominantly but may be required to rotate in the laboratory. The role will include inputting received reports, responding to queries from requesting clinicians, dealing with overdue and incomplete worklists and dealing with posts to/out of the department
The successful candidate will be required to work core hours between 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs (day shifts).

Biomedical Support Workers (BSW's) also known as Medical Laboratory Assistants (MLA's) are a key staff group within the pathology laboratory. Candidates will need to be enthusiastic, well- motivated and innovative, with good organisational and practical abilities supported by scientific knowledge. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to support individual and team working is essential.
