Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the Radiology team as a Plain Film Musculoskeletal and Chest Reporting Radiographer.
The department offers a supportive and encouraging environment in which to develop as a professional.
The appointment will be for 30 hours per week. This will include working your fair share of Bank Holidays.
Main duties of the job
To provide an autonomous reporting service for plain film imaging by analysing, interpreting and issuing an independent report and when necessary discussing the findings with the referring clinician.
To provide expert clinical advice in relation to Emergency Care and to support the multidisciplinary team.
Participate in the further development of the radiographer led reporting service.
Deliver presentations/training sessions to enhance knowledge of image reporting to Radiographer colleagues and clinicians.
Demonstrate ability to act as a recognised expert within diagnostic imaging, providing specialist advice to clinicians as appropriate.
Carry out a wide range of Radiographic Procedures using a variety of specialised equipment.
