Job summary

We are looking for 2 Junior Analysts to come into our team and develop the skills needed to manage and configure a world-class Electronic Patient Record (EPR).

Applicants with clinical, administrative and IT experience are invited to apply. Experience of an EPR (as an end-user or maintaining) would be beneficial, but training will be given.

  • The post holder will be an integral member of the Shared EPR Team and work closely with colleague specialists who configure and develop the EPR.
  • The post holder will undertake an agreed plan of learning and familiarisation relevant to the Cerner millennium EPR.

  • Applicants will be expected to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft software packages with an interest in clinical systems and/or experience of hospital process either clinically or administratively.
  • The postholder would be expected to work as part of a collaborative team and be able to undertake a variety of unsupervised tasks as needed to an appropriate quality and with training where necessary.
  • The post-holder will need to be comfortable working on a computer for most of the day, and able to absorb information, and learn from online materials as well as by asking colleagues for direction.
  • The team has a hybrid working model, and the post holder will be required to work from home as well as from hot desks at the administrative site in Elland and the hospital sites in Bradford, Airedale, Huddersfield and Halifax.
