Job summary
Are you a highly skilled, and experienced Community Nurse? Would you like to develop your knowledge and experience of operational management whilst maintaining your clinical skills and providing clinical leadership to a locality team. If so then this exciting new role is an excellent opportunity to develop both personally and professionally.
You will be working in an integrated locality community care team within the Harrogate and Rural Alliance. Working closely with our systems partners in friendly and supportive teams you will be encouraged to innovate and lead on service developments and improvements.
Main duties of the job
This role will be responsible for the management of a Locality Community Care Team based in Knaresborough & Boroughbridge.
The post holder will be responsible for leading the team to deliver high standards of patient centered care cost effectively. Working closely with the Service Manager and Matron, the post holder will ensure the sustained delivery of key operational, performance and financial service targets.
The post holder will line manage the Community Care Team, comprising of District Nurses, Community Nurses and Support Workers working in the locality and employed by HDFT. They will need well developed interpersonal and communications skills to build strong working relationships with GPs and managers in partner provider organizations to enable collaborative working.
