Job summary

To work as a children's nurse in the community across the Harrogate & Rural district footprint.

To carry out continuing delegated responsibility for the assessment of needs, development,implementation and evaluation of individual programmes of care for children and YoungPeople aged 0-19 with life-limiting/life-threatening/complex health care needs, This is to maximisehealth opportunities to fulfil their potential. The team is based at the hospital but deliver care in arange of community settings I.E home, school, respite etc across the Harrogate & ruralfootprint.

This post is for 15 hours per week

Main duties of the job

With support & supervision, to take delegated responsibility for the management of own caseload. This includes liaison with other professionals and agencies and where appropriate, the supervision, delegation of nursing duties and teaching of staff and students. See job description
