Job summary
The Clinical Information Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effective management of clinical data within the GP practice.The role supports high-quality patient care and underpins contractual compliance, clinical governance, and financial performance through robust information management.
The post holder ensures that data is correctly coded, validated, and reported for Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), Investment and Impact Fund (IIF), and Local Enhanced Services (LES). They are also responsible for maintaining the accuracy of CQRS (CalculatingQuality Reporting Service) claims, ensuring the practice receives appropriate and timely reimbursement.
Working closely with GPs, practice nurses, administrative staff, and PCN colleagues, the post holder will monitor data quality, support audits, and contribute to system improvements that enhance both clinical outcomes and organisational efficiency.
