Job summary

A GP bank receptionist plays a vital role in managing the front desk and ensuring smooth operations in a healthcare setting.

Main duties of the job

  • Greeting Patients: Welcoming patients as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact.

  • Appointment Scheduling: Managing the appointment booking system, scheduling patient visits, and ensuring accurate records.

  • Patient Registration: Collecting and updating patient information, ensuring confidentiality.

  • Communication: Answering phone calls, responding to queries, and directing calls to appropriate departments or practitioners.

  • Admin Support: Assisting with office tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling patient forms.

  • Billing and Payments: Assisting with billing inquiries and processing payments for services rendered
