Main duties of the job

To deliver high-quality, safe and compassionate nursing care to adult inpatients.

The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based care, ensuring patients receive an excellent standard of treatment and experience during their hospital stay.

The Band 5 Registered Nurse will promote patient independence, dignity, and wellbeing, while contributing to a positive ward culture and continuous service improvement.

Role of the Departments - Adult Inpatient Wards

The Adult Inpatient Wards at Harrogate Hospital comprising of 13 wards across two directorates, delivering high-quality care to patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs. Together, these wards support emergency admissions, planned procedures, specialist treatments, and rehabilitation, working collaboratively to ensure safe, effective and patient-centred care.
