Job summary
Are you an experienced neurological physiotherapist with a special interest in-patient neurology and out-patient amputees rehabilitation? (NB amputee experience NOT essential). Are you ready to help us continue to progress physiotherapy services for Lascelles Rehabilitation unit? Main duties of the job
Lascelles is a 13 bedded rehabilitation unit for neurological conditions and complex rehabilitation. You will work to further develop our one team approach in the unit alongside the MDT, including the band 7 occupational therapist. You will demonstrate advanced skills and competence in this clinical area and understanding of evidence informed approaches.
You will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the rehabilitation and discharge process. In addition, you will demonstrate and support leadership in a team of experienced physiotherapists and support staff, and specifically support the band 6 physiotherapist who delivers the out-patient amputee service (10 hours/week)
This post is based at Lascelles and sits in the wider stroke, neurology and amputee team. As one of the band 7 therapist at this level you will support and input to the wider team when needed providing a supportive environment for staff and patients to thrive. You will also provide expert clinical support to the staff in Lascelles.
