15 Hours Job share role (Permanent)
We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic Admin Team Leader to carry out a varied and challenging role to support the Long-Term and Unscheduled Care Management Team and Services.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will act as PA to the Operational and Clinical Directors and Head of Nursing and will provide effective diary management and minute taking. They must be able to use initiative to problem solve and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times.
About us
They will be responsible for the day to day management and supervision of the administrative team and must be committed to teamwork. With an overview of the service, they will assess work needs, provide direction to the team, ensure processes are streamlined and carried out efficiently and effectively. Within the role, they will develop, implement and evaluate systems and processes to be able to monitor directorate performance targets, collect data, produce reports and co-ordinate review meetings.

- A good standard of education at GCSE and A Level standard or equivalent including English
- Administration or equivalent experience
- Staff supervision, leadership, development and motivation; managing sickness absence, annual leave and prioritising workload
- High level of experience working in an administrative role, including minute taking, diary management and co-ordination of meetings
Desirable
- Experience of working in the NHS or similar health care environment
- Experience of using Datix
- Train the Trainer qualification
- Qualification in Management, such as First Line Managers, up to certificate level
- Formal typing/word processing qualifications
