Job summary
The post holder will support the delivery of services within the Long Term, Urgent, Cancer & Community Directorate. They will work closely with Directorate, Care Group and Department leadership teams to support capacity and demand planning and managing compliance against national standards and local driver/watch metrics.
Good communication skills and being able to work with all levels of staff are crucial, with the ability to remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
Reporting to the Service Manager the post-holder will work to operationally manage the delivery of service key to delivery of medical specialties with some flexibility to support urgent care and cancer services as required.
Duties will include monitoring pathways in identified specialties, operational managing delays which impact on achievement of RTT, engaging with clinical staff to ensure job plans are effective and activity is managed in a timely manner, reporting performance data at relevant forums and supporting the senior team to produce relevant reports and updates.

Main duties of the job
- Responsible for highlighting and addressing issues of concern, as appropriate
- Support development of appropriate reporting and develop robust Validation processes
- Provide training and communication in relation to capacity& demand modelling and performance against KPIs
- Support the Triumvirate to delivery their Care Group's Driver Metrics as part of the HDFT Impact quality improvement methodology
- Maintain Departmental governance processes in support of nursing and clinicalleadership team(s)
