Clinical Teaching Fellow in Medicine
12 Month Fixed Term Post Starting 6th August 2025

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust are excited to invite applications for a Medical Education Fellow who will support the teaching of our undergraduate medical students. Post holders will be funded to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education.
Main duties of the job
The post is for 12 months with the potential to be extended (Aug 25 to Aug 26).
The job will combine clinical work (80%) and protected time for teaching (20%). Out of-hours work is not a requirement of this role.
The post will suit a motivated junior doctor who would like to develop their knowledge and experience in the field of medical education. When working clinically the post holder will work in medicine, at IMT1-IMT2 level, as a member of a ward based team at Harrogate District Hospital. Candidates will have the opportunity to discuss any particular interests at the interview stage.
About us
The Trust has an excellent Postgraduate Medical Centre which carries a full programme of events including and offers access to a Medical Library and a Clinical Skills Lab with high fidelity simulation facilities. The post is non-training; however, opportunities for development will be available.
