We are expanding our existing staffing and looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our friendly and professional team.
The department manages elective day case surgery for adults and Paediatrics. The function of the department is to provide a high quality patient focused service for patients under regional blocks, general and local anaesthesia. The specialities cover General Surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Oral/Max-Fax, Dermatology/Plastics, Ophthalmology, Hand trauma and Orthopaedics.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the daily management and delivery of safe, individual patient care, within a professional multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will be flexible, multi skilled and continue to gain further knowledge and skills in order to practice competently in elective surgery. They will provide ongoing education, appropriate training opportunities and mentorship duties.
The post holder will work with the team to facilitate new developments and positive change in the clinical environment, based on current evidence and research. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, professional and works well individually and within a team.
