We have vacancies for or B5/6 Radiographers looking for a new challenge.
Harrogate and District Hospital Trust have some excellent opportunities for applicants. We have a bold capital replacement scheme underway; our ED suite has already been remodelled, we have two modern DR rooms. The main department is being re-built, due to open in 2025 with a new equipment, CT suite and MRI suite.
As part of the national development of CDCs, we have extended our hours of service at Ripon Community Hospital.
Please note, Radiographers require experience in NHS radiography practice, HCPC registration and associated English qualifications (IELTS).
Main duties of the job
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated team players.
We are a small district general hospital supporting community services as well as acute workflow. our core hours are 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday with acute services covered at weekends and overnight with onsite shifts.
We are a reasonably small team and therefore Radiographers need to be able to rotate through all areas and be flexible. All Radiographers are expected to take part in theses out of hours duties.
The department provides
Plain film imaging and fluoroscopy services to hospital and community wide clinical areas including trauma, orthopaedic, cardiac catheter lab, theatre and mobile radiography as well as GP referrals. the department also provides a full range of Ultrasound, CT scanning, Nuclear Medicine, MRI scanning and symptomatic Mammography services.
