Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for Health Care Support Worker to join our busy Outpatient Department.

The successful candidate will need to be a dynamic, flexible and highly motivated person with a professional attitude to join the Outpatient Team.

Main duties of the job

Duties of this role will include, assisting practitioners with examinations and procedures, acting as a chaperone, undertaking clerical duties and liaising with various departments and clinicians.

About us

Candidates will need to have strong communication skills and to be able to work as part of a team. We are looking for individuals who are highly organised and ideally with previousexperience of working in a clinical setting. An induction programme will be provided within the department.

  • oCare Certificate or required to undertake Care Certificate and complete within 12 weeks
  • o5 GCSE grade c or above or equivalent, including Maths and English
