Job summary
We are looking for an Patient Pathway Coordinator who can help us deliver an efficient, high quality medical records service across the Long Term and Unscheduled Care Directorate. This role is essential to providing safe care to our patients by ensuring that medical records are in the right place at the right time for patients to be treated and then returned to the correct storage location. This role is a senior member of the team, providing leadership and guidance to our clerical officers and apprentices. The role will be key to helping us achieve our targets.
Main duties of the job
Applicants should be able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, be excellent communicators with good telephone skills and have the ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis whilst maintaining a positive approach, and providing a quality service that supports our patient care.
The post requires an efficient, caring and proactive individual with an appreciation and understanding of the confidential nature of the work.
