Job summary
The Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Podiatry team are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Podiatrist with a special interest Diabetes and High Risk to join their team.
The Scarborough Whitby and Ryedale Podiatry team is based at Springhill House in Scarborough but provides community Podiatry services in 22 clinical locations and home visits. Due to the rural geographical locations of our locality any applicant must have appropriate transport to get to any of these locations.
On employment you will also commence our Mentorship program, giving you the support, mentorship and supervision from a senior Podiatrist to develop your skills and ability and become integrated within the team and the allied professions we work alongside.
The department can offer a variety of flexible working arrangements to meet both clinical and personal needs.
Main duties of the job
This post will be based at Springhill House, but the post holder will be expected to work at other locations, within the Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale locality. The caseload will be a mixture of community and hospital based clinics and domiciliary work.
The successful applicant will work as part of the Diabetes and high risk team so previous wound care management experience and MDT clinic work is essential
Good diagnostic and clinical skills are essential, good organisational and time management skills are critical to this role and you should have the ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
