Apprentice Assistant Audiology Practitioner

Job summary

As an Apprentice Assistant Audiology Practitioner, you willbenefitfrom a14 month fully funded and supported Level 2 Apprenticeship in Healthcare Scienceand earn a competitive apprenticeship salary, whilst being part of a team and gaining transferable knowledge and skills.

The learning and assessment element of the apprenticeship will be delivered bySheffield College, with a blended learning approach.

To apply for this exciting opportunity, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Be 16 years old
  • Provide proof of UK residency
  • Must have GCSE band 4/grade C and above or Level 2 Functional Skills or equivalent in Mathematics and English, and be able to provide certification
  • Must NOT have a qualification at the same level or above in a relatedfield oralready be in any form of formal government-funded education at the point of enrolment.

It is also desirable to have one of the following qualifications:

  • Level 2/3 (GCSE/A Level) science qualification

Main duties of the job

Although an apprentice role, this vacancy is open to everyone regardless of age and ideal for anyone looking for a career within Audiology.

Over a 14-month period, you will be fully funded to complete your apprenticeship around your working role.

You will be a responsible member of the Audiology Department,assistingthe Audiologists with their role of providing help andassistanceto hearing impaired patients of all ages.

You will receive training on all aspects of the role to enable you to fulfil the responsibilities for the role
