You will have opportunities to lead and support quality improvement initiatives, strengthen staff morale, develop future leaders, respond to Care Quality Commission recommendations, and implement national and local guidance.

This post is central to the operational delivery of Gynaecology Outpatients and Ambulatory Services. The Gynaecology Lead Nurse will provide strong clinical leadership and effective management to ensure consistently high standards of care and robust quality assurance at regional and national level. The post holder will bring specialist clinical knowledge and expertise and will manage specialist nurses across gynaecology according to each clinical area.

The role combines clinical and managerial leadership. The post holder will act as a positive, visible role model, promoting best practice from the clinical base and supporting colleagues through mentorship, appraisal, and the development of high professional standards.
