We are seeking to recruit Clinical Imaging Support Workers (CISW), with a passion for working to the highest standard, to join our dedicated team in Radiology.
Radiology at Scarborough Hospital is a forward thinking Department, committed to staff development and the provision of an effective and efficient patient centred Imaging Service.
Clinical Imaging Support Workers are key members of the multidisciplinary team involved in the Radiology Service provision. Working within Radiology will provide a new challenge, and will be ever-changing and rewarding.

You must have great communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. You must be motivated, passionate and proactive with the ability to work as part of a team.
Previous experience of working in a healthcare environment is desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge in a technically advanced field.

Main duties of the job
Supporting Radiologists and Radiographers with the provision of Imaging Services at Scarborough Hospital and the Scarborough Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC)
The post holder will be required to assist the Radiographic Staff in the day to day service provision. The duties include undertaking pre-examination patient assessments and CT/MRI safety checks, equipment and patient positioning and IV cannulation.
You will be required to work a variety of shifts including 12 hour days, evenings and weekends. Hours worked will be on a rotational basis and will be within the hours 08:00-20:00 7 days per week.
