An exciting leadership opportunity has arisen within Child Health.We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual ready to take on a new challenge, providing leadership across the acute inpatient ward and surgical day unit. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering compassionate, high-quality care, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and driving excellence in outcomes for children and their families.

Main duties of the job
This Band 7 leadership role involves managing all aspects of delivering consistently high standards of care, underpinned by a strong commitment to NHS values. This includes promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and inclusion through education, staff development, and effective people management.
With the support of the wider team, the post holder will also contribute tofinancial and budget management, workforce planning, recruitment, and operational service delivery, working collaboratively with operational and corporate teams to ensure services are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.
