Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated experienced health care support worker to join our friendly and dynamic team. We are looking for caring individuals who have a flexible approach to working and have previous experience of band 2 or band 3 health care support worker .
You must possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team. We require a health care support worker who has drive and passion for this area of work.
The post advertised will have a probationary period where the successful candidates will be expected to have completed the relevant training , OSCEs and gained competence in cannulation, venepuncture, observations, simple wound dressings and assist with procedures that support diagnosis.

- To assist the registered practitioner in providing high quality compassionate care and assistance to patients/relatives and their carers, appropriate to their needs.
- Responsible for carrying out tasks as delegated by the registered practitioner, who has overall accountability for delegating care.
- To provide pastoral support to new starters to the ward in a kind and compassionate manner.
- To use own initiative within the level of competence to complete day to day activities for the role.
- To comply with the Trust's vision, values and behavioural Framework.
