As a Paediatric Generic Therapy Assistant, you'll work across a range of settings -- schools, clinics, and family homes -- providing hands-on support that really matters.

In this role, you'll:? Support children and young people through physiotherapy and occupational therapy programmes? Help with assessments and treatment plans? Manage your own caseload with guidance from experienced therapists? Work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to give every child the best start possible

The ability to transport yourself and equipment across the locality during the course of a normal working day is required for this vacancy. Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence (role will involve travel to numerous addresses that cannot be easily accessed by public transport means) is required.

Main duties of the job

As a Children's Generic Therapy Assistant, you'll play a vital part in helping children and young people reach their full potential. Working in community, home, and educational settings, you'll bring energy, care, and creativity to every session -- supporting the delivery of high-quality therapy across the service.

Some duties you'll be doing:

  • ? Providing hands-on therapy support to children and families in a range of settings.

  • ? Working side by side with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to deliver tailored therapy programmes.

  • ? Helping to monitor and maintain specialist therapy equipment to ensure it's safe and effective.

  • ? Being an active member of our multidisciplinary team, managing your workload and contributing to great patient outcomes.

  • ? Taking part in regular supervision and keeping your learning portfolio up to date to grow your skills and confidence.
