We are seeking an experiencedOperational Managerto join ourPain Department with the Theatres, Anaesthetics and Critical Care Directorate, providing strategic and operational leadership across Pain Services.
This is a key role, working closely with clinical leads, Nursing Teams, and wider multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient care for our patients.
We are looking for someone with proven operational management experience in healthcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Main duties of the job

Delivering high standards of operational performance across elective and emergency pathways

Supporting service transformation and innovation to meet national standards and local priorities

Managing resources effectively, ensuring services are delivered within budget and workforce plans

Driving continuous improvement, patient experience, and staff engagement
- Day-to-day line management of administration and clerical functions within the Directorate.
