Job summary
The Rheumatology Therapy team has an exciting opportunity for a senior Occupational therapist to join the team for a part time 12-month fixed term / Secondment contract. With a potential to make permanent at the end of the fixed term.
The role would be suitable for an Occupational therapist with experience working with rheumatology patients or managing long term conditions in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will be based in Scarborough Hospital.
The Rheumatology therapy team is made up of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, who work across the areas of Rheumatology. You will have access to a support network, including Rheumatology Medical team, Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead, Advanced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists, operational leadership team, and professional leadership team.
Please note: this post may become Permanent at the end of Fixed Term/Secondment.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve undertaking clinical audits and we encourage the involvement in research. You will also have opportunity to lead on developments within the service and provide supervision and education for Occupational Therapy students.
