Job summary
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to our Paediatric Diabetes Nursing Team in York. The role is varied and requires knowledge of databases such as Microsoft office, attention to detail, administration of meetings and flexibility.
Based at York Hospital, there will be the need to travel to other Trust sites if required and there is also some opportunity for hybrid working.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be responsible for updating the National Diabetes Audit (NDA) Programme, ensuring stock of diabetic supplies are kept to required levels, maintaining Trust databases, participating in, and providing administrative support for the Paediatric Diabetes Multi-Disciplinary Meetings (MDT). The role will include dealing with patient telephone calls and emails, as well as liaison with professionals both internally and externally.
We are looking for good written and spoken English, knowledge of Microsoft Office suites, high attention to detail, flexibility, and adaption to service requirements.
There will be the need to travel to our Malton and Scarborough sites when required.
