Job summary

Are you a dynamic leader looking for a rewarding role in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to directly improve patient experience?

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who has a proven track record of operational leadership with a particular interest in using performance data (qualitative and quantitative) to help us develop strategies with measurable outcomes.

You will oversee the effective day-to-day running of services across multiple sites and will be required to have onsite presence at these sites, motivating and supporting teams through a business change programme. Ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care, whilst managing budgets, staffing, and operational targets. You will be expected to collaborate closely with teams across the 5 hospitals to drive service improvements, manage resources, and ensure compliance with NHS standards and policies.

Main duties of the job

To work with clinical and managerial colleagues, ensuring that operational performance and access targets are met, and take the lead in developing effective systems within the department to enable the sustained delivery of key operational targets. To support the implementation of service redesign, taking the lead for specific elements of wider transformation across Outpatient Services. To be responsible for the day-to-day line management of administration and clerical functions within Outpatient Services.
