Aseptic Services Cleanroom Supervisor

Job summary

Suitable candidates would be required to work in a cleanroom environment where duties are interesting and varied.

The main responsibilities of this role are to organise and supervise clean room activities on a daily and weekly basis. This includes supervising and managing staff, workflow, cleaning, and validation activities.

This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for the successful applicant to progress their career within the Aseptic unit with both developmental and educational opportunities available.

Main duties of the job

  • To work as part of the pharmacy Aseptic Services team in the comprehensive and efficient supply and delivery of aseptically prepared products.
  • To organise and supervise clean room activities including staff and workflow.
  • To competently undertake Pre and in-process checking within specified local parameters to ensure patient safety and product quality.
  • To assist with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assurance system.

We are looking for a conscientious individual who is willing to embrace the challenges of this role within the existing team. You should be organised, motivated and assertive with a passion for improvement and innovation. Full support will be provided to the successful candidate to enable them to fully complete the duties of the role.

Essential

  • BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences / QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent or equivalent/higher science based qualification
  • Minimum 3 years continuous service in aseptics (or similar environment such as manufacturing) as band 3 Senior Assistant Technical Officer (or equivalent).

Desirable

  • APDM via Leeds University / TSET
  • Pre and In-Process Checking within Aseptic Services
  • Level 3 Science Manufacturing Technician
  • Level 3 Team leading
