Working alongside your colleagues, you will promote evidence-based practice and facilitate the upskilling of the department as a whole with energy and drive.
Applicants should have strong clinical skills within ophthalmology, alongside excellent communication skills. There will be an expectation that the post holder will have the ability to take on specialist clinical work, under the supervision of subspecialty consultants, for example in glaucoma, medical retina and emergency eye care.
Teamwork is at the heart of our ophthalmology service. The post-holder will, alongside the Nursing & AHP Lead, focus on the organisation and delivery of clinical training utilising the Ophthalmic Practitioner Training framework.
