We are looking for an Analyst Programmer to join our in house Development team. We develop vital systems that are used by our clinical teams to support the delivery of safe and effective care. With numerous clinically focused projects already delivered and many more planned, this is an exciting opportunity to join our established team to develop high quality software.
Candidates will be qualified to degree level or have extensive relevant experience. Demonstrable proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL along with Oracle Forms or oracle Apex are also essential.
Candidates must be able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, be team orientated and willing to be flexible and eager to take on new challenges.

Main duties of the job
Along with your colleagues in the Development Team you will be working in an Oracle development environment, with an emphasis on quality and excellence.
The role will encompass all aspects of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of our core electronic patient record and interfaces to other key systems.
Current projects include digitisation of clinical documentation, outpatient transformation and interoperability with the Yorkshire and Humber Care Record.
