Job summary

Due to maternity leave, an opportunity has become available to join our friendly and supportive Sexual Health team as a B4 Clinical Support Co-ordinator - 37.5hours per week.

We are looking for a well organised dynamic individual to join our team as a Clinical Support Co-ordinator to maintain our workforce and recruitment information.

Our successful candidate will play a key role in actively managing all the workforce and recruitment information, including keeping all personal files up to date within the Integrated Sexual Health Service (ISHS). The post holder will ensure delegated tasks are carried out smoothly and efficiently whilst maintaining confidentiality and working autonomously across our clinics.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

  • Communicating with a range of contacts internally and externally, managers, staff and clients on issues relating to the workforce role. This information may be routine/straight forward, have a degree of complexity or be of a sensitive nature.
  • Maintain the security of sensitive personal and other confidential information
  • To plan and organise the admin function adopting a flexible approach when needed.
  • Carry out designated admin task as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain appropriate and internal written working practices for Clinical Support.
  • You may hold a delegated budget and be authorised to sign off financial payments.
  • Day to day supervision, coordination or management of the admin and clerical staff. Including recruitment, appraisals, disciplinaries, grievance, sickness absence and performance issues.
  • Ensure the relevant department paper based and or computerised information system are adequately maintained and fit for purpose. You may be required to input data and produce standard ad hoc reports.
  • You may carry out PA type duties for the Clinical Services Manager, Operations Manager and Service Manager as required.
  • Support with all internal audit processes.
  • Support with Risk assessment and COSHH assessments as required
  • The post holder will have or acquire the appropriate level of safeguarding and child protection knowledge, skills and practice required for the trust.
  • Will observe all relevant IPC policies in carrying out their duties
