Job summary

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Clinical Support Worker for our Pre-op Assessment team. This is a busy unit operating Monday-Friday. Working hours are currently 07.00 until 18.00.

Main duties of the job

Triage of adult patients awaiting surgery under various form of anaesthesia & surgical specialities.

Identifying current comorbidities of the patient and deciding/organising relevant pre op tests eg ECG & blood/urine testing.

Performing essential observations and providing health education to patients.

Working independently and managing own workload, under the guidance of the registered nursing team.
