Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team on Ward 14 on a fixed term contract. We are a 32 bedded complex care ward. You will be working as part of a team with experienced nurses to provide a high standard of specialised care to patients including assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating all care needs.

We are proud that the team's continued diligence and high standards of performance have enabled us to achieve a bronze status during recent accreditation. We remain committed to the patients on our ward who continue to be looked after in a safe, clean and caring environment.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide a high standard of nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of patient care.

To work closely with the department / ward managerand multi-disciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining policies, standards of nursing care, staff and service development within the department / ward environment.To carry out all relevant forms of care under supervision and when proficient demonstrate procedures of care; supervise junior qualified and / or unqualified staff including student nurses whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
