The post holder will provide administrative support to the Anticoagulation team and assist in the efficient running of the service. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. Knowledge of anticoagulation treatment is desirable but not required, as full training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
Supporting the Anticoagulant Specialist Nurses to ensure that the Anticoagulant Clinic are run efficiently. See attached job description.

Supporting the team by handling telephone enquiries professionally, accurately recording and relaying messages, and directing queries to the appropriate healthcare professional.

Processing inpatient and outpatient anticoagulation referrals in a timely manner.

Booking new and followup anticoagulation patients using the DAWN and IPM electronic systems.
