ENT and Audiology Service Manager

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated manager with a strong passion for operational delivery and the drive to support a wide-ranging transformational agenda. As the Service Manager for ENT and Audiology, you will lead all aspects of operational performance across the specialties, ensuring high-quality service delivery within agreed resources and income plans.
In this role, you will be responsible for consistently meeting key service standards, including H&N Cancer targets, DM01 and Referral to Treatment (RTT) requirements. You will work closely with the General Manager, Clinical Director, Head of Nursing and wider colleagues to develop, implement and review service delivery and improvement plans. You will also ensure that robust financial controls are in place and maintained.
This is a key leadership position where you will champion patient safety, operational effectiveness and high-quality care, helping to shape and strengthen services during a period of significant transformation.
Main duties of the job
- Provide visible operational leadership to the relevant clinical specialty and promote continual improvement in quality, performance and delivery of Trust objectives
- Lead the establishment of accountability structures within the relevant clinical specialty ensuring that responsibility is delegated appropriately so that decisions can be taken as close to service provision as possible.
- Lead, manage and motivate staff with the relevant clinical specialty to deliver and services (meeting the needs of patients)
- In conjunction with the General Manager, develop the business and planning processes throughout the relevant clinical specialty to deliver services to required standards and within the available resource base
