Job summary
The post holder will have significant years of post-registration clinical experience. It would be highly desirable for the post-holder to have undertaken CT post-graduate study at Masters Level. The post holder will be responsible for the operational clinical management of CT staff, leading the delivery of the CT service and deputising for the Imaging Operational Manager.
He/she will interact with Imaging Department Modality leads to ensure delivery of appropriate and reactive Diagnostic Imaging Services as a whole.
The post holder will assist with organisation of all staff rotation in liaison with the other modality leads. It is envisaged that this post-holder will require 0.4wte administrative time and 0.6wte clinical time in the department.
The post-holder will liaise with a variety of staff throughout the Trust. These will include senior Medical and Nursing staff in all Divisions as well as Clinical Services' Divisional staff. The key working relationships will be with the Imaging Services Manager, Consultant Imaging staff and Medical physics. The post-holder will also work with non-hospital staff involved in the provision of equipment, materials and services for diagnostic imaging. The post is full time, 37.5 hours per week during the core working hours of Monday - Friday.
