Job summary

As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a key role in supporting the Cardiac Rehab Service by ensuring accurate and timely input of data into the National Audit for Cardiac Rehab database, in-house systems, and Trust-wide platforms. Your attention to detail will help maintain the integrity of vital patient information and service records.

Beyond data entry, you'll provide essential administrative and reception support, helping the team deliver a smooth and efficient service. Collaboration is at the heart of this role--you'll work closely with both the Administrative and Clinical Cardiac Rehab teams, as well as liaise with Trust colleagues and external health professionals and agencies to keep everything running seamlessly.

Main duties of the job

Office-based duties will include entering data accurately and promptly into cardiac and Trust-wide systems, ensuring compliance with all directorate and Trust requirements. You will also be responsible for producing clear, timely, and accurate reports that maintain strict confidentiality, supporting continuous service evaluation and driving quality improvement across the department.

  • Previous use of Cardiovascular Information System [CVIS] and National Audit of Cardiac Rehab [NACR] database
