Job summary
We are looking for a Clinical Support Worker with an interest in Gynaecology who feel they can complement our friendly, conscientious and caring team of nurses.
Ward 34 is a 17 bedded inpatient unit caring for gynaecology patients. It is a small and friendly unit, providing physical and emotional support and a high standard of nursing care. We have a fast turnover of patients and pride ourselves on receiving excellent feedback from the friends and family test.
Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Support Worker you will be supporting our nurses to care for patients with a wide variety of gynaecological conditions including problems in early pregnancy, termination of pregnancy, post operative care and cancer patients. You will be involved in a variety of duties including bathing, toileting and monitoring observations.
A flexible working approach and ability to deal with the sensitive nature of women's health is required. You will be expected to be able to work a variety of shifts, including long days, twilight, nights, weekends and public holidays.
This will be for 9 Long shifts (11.5 hours) over a 4 week rota period.
