Practice Educator - Imaging

Job summary

We're looking for a dedicated Practice Educator to support the development of Imaging staff and students across all modalities. You'll work closely with the Imaging Operational Manager and Modality Managers to identify training needs, deliver impactful education, and promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement. This role includes supporting undergraduate students, apprentices, and Assistant Practitioners, while maintaining your own clinical competencies through hands-on duties. Main duties of the job

  • Work collaboratively with the Imaging Operational Manager and Modality Managers to assess training needs and support workforce development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training delivered, ensuring continuous improvement in clinical practice.
  • Develop and facilitate educational programmes for Imaging staff and learners, including undergraduate students from HEIs, apprentice Radiographers/Sonographers, and Assistant Practitioners.
  • Support learners in the clinical environment, promoting best practice and professional growth.
  • Undertake clinical duties to maintain personal competencies and provide hands-on support to new staff during training and induction.
