An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our large and friendly Outpatient team as a Patient Pathway Coordinator. This full-time role is central to the smooth and effective running of the Outpatient Department, which supports a wide range of services across the hospital.
We are looking for a motivated and organised individual who thrives in a busy environment and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating patient pathways, ensuring appointments and referrals are managed efficiently and with compassion.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate should have experience of administrative work and dealing with the general public and should be self-motivated with a calm, professional and organised approach to their work. He or she should be able to prioritise effectively and work in a flexible manner. It would be helpful to have NHS experience and in particular with appointment bookings.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who would enjoy the challenge of a busy environment and is able to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to work within a large team and with the general public.
The hours and days of work in this role are fixed as follows:- Mon-Fri 08.30 am to 17.00. There will be an opportunity for agile working once fully trained.
