Job summary
A really exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for and full time band 6 Physiotherapist to join our well established Community Respiratory team. The team are responsible for delivery of the Pulmonary rehabilitation service for north and mid Bedfordshire. We are very proud of our accreditation status with PRSAS and the post holder will be part of the team delivering and maintaining these very high standards of care.

Main duties of the job
The community respiratory team supports patients across North and Mid Bedfordshire as part of the wider integrated COPD service. We provide a holistic approach to assessment, treatment, prevention advice, and education for referred patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions.
The role involves supporting the team leader to ensure a comprehensive, evidence-based, and effective Respiratory Therapy Service. This service includes patients treated as outpatients, within community venues, or in their own homes. The role also includes a key responsibility in patient assessment and leading Pulmonary Rehabilitation groups at community sites throughout North and Mid Bedfordshire.
