Job summary
We are seeking an experienced paediatric dietitian for a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This post combines a caseload of home enterally fed patients, outpatient clinics and a caseload of patients in special needs schools.
Our paediatric dietetic team provide input to the wards at Bedford Hospital and across north and mid Bedfordshire community. The team are highly experienced and provide clinical supervision, peer review and general support to each other. The post holder will also work closely with the paediatric dietetic assistant practitioner.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will manage a caseload of home enterally fed and community patients as well as facilitating regular outpatient clinics.
The position would be suitable for those looking to work remotely if preferred.
Experience working as a paediatric dietitian is essential but we welcome applications from dietitians looking to develop a specialist knowledge in the aforementioned areas and our practice development dietitian can support with any required upskilling and development needs.
