Job summary

This is an exciting new role for an experienced Dermatology Band 7 Nurse to join our dynamic team.

.We are a friendly team of doctors and nurses, with many Nurse-Led-Services. These include, phototherapy, patch testing, systemics

The nurses are well supported by the doctors, which is important when working in a small team.

Main duties of the job

To provide highly specialised care in long term skin disease management clinics.

To manage a caseload of patients and to ensure that patients and families are fully informed and supported.

Demonstrate in depth knowledge and competence in all aspects of Dermatology.

  • Proven abilities to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Able to demonstrate ability to prioritise conflicting workload and manage patient caseloads
  • Leadership, accountability and communication skills
  • Accurate presentation skills and attention to detail

  • leg ulcer experience
  • Patch testing
  • Minor operation skills / Proven cryotherapy / phototherapy clinical skills

  • Proven registered Nurse Level 1
  • Evidence of continuing education
  • Degree +/- Masters but willing to work towards Masters
  • Completed Systematic assessment / history taking modules
  • Evidence of professional studies relevant to Dermatology,
  • ENB 997/998 or equivalent

  • Proven Independent prescriber qualification
