An excellent opportunity has arisen at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a Band 7 Directorate Accountant (Projects and Automation) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic and well-motivated and will work within the Finance team to lead on the automation of processes and assist in the provision of financial information and advice to clinical services. The successful candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team with excellent communication skills and a sound knowledge of RPA, Microsoft applications and accounting systems. Main duties of the job
The post-holder will lead the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) ensuring a culture of continuous improvement. He/she be responsible for identifying process suitable for automation, developing processes and driving these forward. They will work alongside finance colleagues to produce high quality financial information, minimising transactions and ensuring standardisation. The post-holder will also provide ad hoc support to other members of the finance team as required.
